MANDELA'S CHILDREN TO BE REBURIED AS FAMILY FIGHT IN COURT

The ongoing family squabbles have revealed the real condition of Madiba's health.Contrary to the presidency's last update, that Madiba remains in a critical but stable condition.

Nelson Mandela’s health is perilous and he is being assisted in breathing by a life support machine.

An affidavit filed by Madiba's eldest surviving daughter, Makaziwe, confirms details about the elderly statesman's condition.

She also said in the statement that affidavits will be provided by Mandela's physicians.
The statement which formed the core of the Mandela vs. Mandela court dispute says the anticipation of the former president's impending death is based on real and substantial grounds.
Makaziwe added that this faction of the family believes Mandla wants to force his grandfather’s place of burial away from Qunu to Mvezo for financial gain.

The remains of three of Nelson Mandela's children will be reburied this morning in Qunu, Eastern Cape. Following  a bitter court battle between the former President's eldest grandson Mandla and sixteen other members of the family.
Relatives took Mandla to court after he illegally exhumed the remains from Qunu in 2011 and relocated them to Mvezo without consulting any family member.
Mvezo is Mandla Mandela's homestead,Mandla is a first grandson of Mandela out of wedlock.
A final order was granted against him on Wednesday in the Mthatha High Court.
The remains were exhumed on Wednesday night and are being kept at a local mortuary.
They will first have to undergo forensic tests for identification purposes.
The sheriff of the court had to force his way onto Mandla's property using a pickaxe.
A cavalcade of three hearses drove into Mvezo accompanied by members of the Mandela family to oversee the exhumation.
Authorities spent around an hour searching the property for any remains.Police confirmed the remains were located in unmarked sites on Mandla’s property.
Mandla issued  a statement shortly after the court proceedings saying he was disappointed by the outcome. He added that  his name has been tarnished by the debacle.
Mandla will tell his side of the story at a press briefing on 4th July,2013,Thursday morning in Mvezo.
The recent revelations coming at a time when the elderly statesman is in hospital shows disunity in the family.
